Beef and Vegetables
*Makes about 525 ml

Can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours or freeze for up to two weeks.

½ onion, finely chopped
100 grams potato, peeled and diced
100 grams carrot, peeled and diced
150 grams piece of pumpkin, peeled and diced
2 tomatoes, peeled and diced
2 tablespoons raw rice
¼ cup apple juice with no added sugar/apple sauce
½ cup unsalted beef stock

Cook everything gently in a saucepan with a tight fitting lid. When tender, process to a puree or mash it with a fork for a little texture (according to the age of the child).

Chicken and Sweet Corn
*Makes about 525 ml

Can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours or freeze for up to two weeks.

1 sweet corn cob
60 grams finely minced chicken
100 grams zucchini, diced
1 onion, finely chopped
1 large tomato, finely chopped (this can probably wait until our baby reaches 10 months old due to the acidity of tomato)
Big handful baby spinach leaves (about 100 grams)
Pinch of nutmeg (optional)
1 tablespoon raw rice
½ cup unsalted chicken stock

Grate the corn into saucepan (don’t grate too close to the centre of the cob or you will get too many fibrous pieces). Add the remaining ingredients. Place in a tight fitting lid on the saucepan and cook over a gentle heat until mixture is soft. Process to a puree or mash it with a fork for a little texture (according to the age of the child).

Vegetable and Chicken
*Makes about 375 ml

Can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours or freeze for up to two weeks.

150 grams sweet potato, peeled and diced
150 grams potato, peeled and diced
150 grams carrot, peeled and diced
½ cup chicken unsalted chicken stock
Big handful baby spinach leaves (about 100 grams)
½ cup chicken unsalted chicken stock

Put the potatoes and carrots into a saucepan with the stock cover and cook gently until almost tender. Add the spinach and cook until the vegetables are soft and the spinach is cooked. Process until a puree.

Vegetable Soup
*Makes about 4 cups (1 litre)

As the exact amount will depends on the size of the vegetables, the specified quantity is a guideline only. Can store in the refrigerator for up to three days or freeze for up to six weeks.

1 medium-sized carrot, peeled and thinly sliced
1 small potato, peeled and thinly sliced or chopped
1 small sweet potato, peeled and chopped (about 200 grams)
1 medium sized zucchini, sliced or chopped
2 tablespoons rice
3 cups water

Put everything into a saucepan, bring to a boil, cover and simmer gently for about 25 minutes or until the vegetables are quite soft. Timing will depend on how large you have cut the pieces. Cool slightly. Puree in a blender or a food processor.

Note: If you wish to have a thick texture, drain off the liquid first, puree the vegetables and add the cooking liquid gradually until the soup is the thickness desired.

Chicken Stock (specially for babies-use organic- hormone free chicken)
*Makes about 3 1/2 cups

As a rule, babies can begin to have chicken flavour introduced into their diet from six months of age onwards. It usually begins with stock added to food and then some finely minced chicken.

It is very simple to make a batch of your own chicken stock to use as a light, tasty base for any baby or toddler recipes where stock is needed. You can buy chicken bones at most poultry shops and some supermarkets. The stock can be stored in the refrigerator for up to four days or frozen for up to two months.

500 grams chicken bones, well rinsed
4 cups water
1 carrot, roughly chopped
some parsley stalks
1 stalk celery, cut into a few chunks

Place everything into a saucepan, cover and simmer gently for one hour, stirring once or twice. Remove from the heat, strain and let cool to tepid before storing for 4 days refrigerated or 2 months frozen. Don’t worry about the fat that may form. This helps to preserve the stock and can be easily removed once the stock is chilled.

Pear with Ricotta
*Makes about 125ml

Needs to be eaten same day. Can store in the refrigerator for up to 12 hours but cannot be frozen.

1 ripe pear, peeled and diced
1/2 cup water
1/3 cup smooth ricotta cheese

Place pear in the water in a saucepan, cover and cook until tender (riper pears will cook faster). Drain well. Use a fork to mash the pear on a plate and when cool mix with ricotta. The mix will be very moist. Stir gently before serving.

hari ke-4 teething

sejak kemaren dan masih hari ini adelle selera makannya agak berkurang.... kalo makan sih teteup.. cuman porsinya berkurang aja, baru dikit keliatan udah kenyang dan yang udah sempat masuk trus disembur2in kemana2... jorokkkh yaa

trus hari ini tiba2 sibuk miring2in bibir bawah kalo lg ngoceh dan ketawa2..weeeleeehh2x aneh banget, ga tau blajar dari mana (ga mgkn gue mamanya ngajarin kaann...?!) nih foto kurang 'miring' sih...makin hari makin pinter miringinnya hahaha..

setelah rewel2 seharian kemaren, ehhhh tadi pagi g iseng ngeraba2 gusi2na adelle, ternyata udah nongol sedikit 1 gigi di gusi bawah. dan hari ini adelle udah jauh lebih hepi dari kemaren..busettt kalo kemaren tuh maunya dibawah ketiak mamina mlulu. kemana2 mesti ngikut, ditaruh sebentar lgsg nangis. nangisnya kayak lagi disiksa aja. luckily it's for the teething reason.

mama adelle ga bisa bobo....hu hu hu... ^_^

jadi kepikiran, apa nih yang bisa dibuat laporan..wahh iya iya, apa aja yang lucu dari adelle skrg2 ini :

* adelle seneng banget tepuk2 tangan, suka ngikutin kalo kita tepuk tangan, sama tangannya diangkat tinggi2 *gaya org ngomong "Hurrayyyy.."*

* ga ada yg pernah ngajarin, adelle tiba2 bs 'tounge clicking'. itu lho... lidah di tempelin ke langit2 mulut dan ditekuk sedemikian rupa sampe suara 'click' keluar. heran abis kita2 disini, ga pernah diajarin kok bisa ya..trus kan biarpun dia pernah ngedenger kita tounge clicking tapi kan itu ga keliatan gmn caranya. weleh2.... jadi deh dia skrg klak klik terus

* adelle itu penggeli. daddyna adelle org yg iseng. jadi deh..adelle di geli2 mlulu ama daddyna. belakangan ini si daddy suka menggelitik ntah itu ketiak/perut/pinggang/telapak kaki anakna. nah trus adelle suka tertawa terkikik2. pas si daddy dah kelar, ngeliat adelle, raut muka adelle lgsg berubah tujuh rius, trus tangannya 'plok...plokkk plokk.... nemplok deh ke pipi si daddy. ditampar2 ringan gitu dehh. hehhee... trus si daddy repeat lagi, trus adelle begitu lagi..and so on and so on.. kalo mama adelle cuman ketawa ketiwi nontonin di sebelah, aman ga kena plok2.

* adelle makin kenceng aja treakannya. wuihhh....gile pokoknya.

* ngeliat apa2 suka excited banget sendiri..kaki dihentak2an, dikejang2in, tangan diangkat2/tepuk2 dan treak2

* skrg kalo lg duduk bersila, suka diangkat tinggi2 pantatnya berulang2, ngambil ancang2 buat diving ke depan ngambil sesuatu yang amat sangat jauh. kalo pun ga diving, adelle berulang2 ngangkat tuh bokong sambil treak2 excited dan tepuk tangan dan ngangkat2 tangan

* suka sit-up2 kalo lg rebahan, tujuannya yah buat ngintip2 daddy ama mami lagi dimana dan lagi ngapain yaaaaaa

* gumaman, ocehan dan treak2annya adelle itu lucu daahh...suka kita ajakin ngobrol2, trus dia ngejawabnya suka mecing lho hihi...

* suka nge'hap' idung mami and daddynya (iyaa..masuk ke mulutnya die!!)

* maruk, kalo megang maenan satu di tangan kiri satu di kanan, sering jg dua2nya mo dimasukin mulutnya bareng2..yah mana muat atuh!!! ck ck ck...

* kalo centilnya lagi kumat, senyumnya gaya dikulum2. hihi... sok manis.

pokoknya adelle itu membuat hari2 jauh lebih ceria deh!!


yang lg ga begitu lucu dari adelle jg ada :

* adelle tuh dari lahir kakinya emang noticeably is the most active bodypart. dan skrg yah masih begichu... suka nendang sana sini bok! sakit.. hu hu hu...

* kadang mata suka kecolok.. sakittttnya itu ga tahaannn

happy holiday *NOT*

I suddenly became a mother of three, not one. My parents went away for 2 weeks so i'm in charge now.... so far so good..

adelle can't stop clapping her hands, mum-ing and dada-ing, and laughing, squealing and smiling. She start to say other words too,it sounds something like "nyeng..nyenngg" .

When she sees me, she'd go "mamm..mamamm..mamammmm", i doubt she means "makan" (in indo sometimes people use the word "mamam" when talking to babies/little kids to describe "makan=eat") as I say "makan" to her. Ohh well, doesn't matter..i take it as her "mama cry" as she only does it to me heheh...

what makes adelle unique
Other than this 'mama cry' she does, another thing that makes Adelle unique is that she has 3 birthmarks. One is at the back of her neck, I suppose it's called "stork bites". It's kinda hidden due to the amount of hair she has :D The second one is "mongolian spots" on her lower back,near the buttock. The third one is on her wrist. I'm not sure what this one's called. It's vascular, many small red dots (rather raised I suppose) form a small rectangle. It's positioned on her bottom wrist and kinda looks like a bangle. This birthmark seems to be fading away with time though.

sleeping/feeding schedule
her schedule hasn't changed much in pattern. i'm trying to lessen her day naps so she can fall asleep after her last feeding much sooner than before. it seems to be working but it sure is energy consuming. it means i have to cut off some of my time to do work by playing and entertaining her once she's done playing by herself.

solids
i have only added pear and mango to her list of food so far. I've been thinking of introducing yoghurt to her but haven't been able to find a good plain baby yoghurt yet that is not "heat-treated". I think I'll wait for a little bit longer before introducing broccoli, asparagus, cabbage and other greenies to her as she used to have digestion problem (before solid was introduced). As much as I'd love her to have those now ... hmmmm...

How to make baby muesli

Baby Muesli Homemade

Method:

1. Soak ½ a cup of rolled oats in a bowl in the fridge the night before. Cover them in juice (or water) or a combination of both.
2. Add sultana’s (optional)
3. The following morning cut up fruit into tiny pieces
   eg. apple, pear, banana, peaches
4. Add to rolled oats.
5. Blend using a blender/food processor, and serve

next is a little bit OOT, but here goes....

Oatmeal + apple recipe

ingredients :

1. Peel, core and cut a small apple into small dices
2. Place in a pan with 1/4 c ground oats and 3/4 c water
3. Bring mixture to a slow boil. Simmer covered, checking frequently, until apples are soft and oatmeal is cooked.
4. Be sure to stir and mash while cooking
5. Mix in formula or breast milk or juice to thin if needed - puree if necessary

Cooking Instructions

Sprinkle a bit of cinnamon in the cereal if you desire.

(Ensure all additions are approproate for your baby’s age and stage)

by the way, tadi sore g masak parsnip = lobak buat adelle. tapi pas lg direbus, kok bau yaahhh... (selaen makan lobak di oseng2 wortel + lobak ato sejenis acar, g jujur jg ga pernah menyentuh lobak). tapi dikelarin jg sih masaknya, trus di blender.. pas diicip..hmmm..huuueekkkk kok ga enak yaaaaa hahhaa.. jdnya tuh blended lobak masih nongkrong aja. akhirnya g masak lagi ubi jepangnya.

sayang ya lobaknya, tapi mgkn tetap mo dicobain sih ke adelle. jadi mikir2 possibility idea2 buat temen makan si lobak.. hmmm :

mmm...sbenernya sih adelle itu jadwalna udah ada sendiri. memang tidak memake konsep waktu (ya emang umur segini kan blom bisa liat jam yaak). so, if i step back and watch what she does, her regular schedule is like this : wake up, drink, play abit, bath, play and sleep, wake up, drink, play, sleep, and so on..so long as she drinks 5 times 150 ml a day.

maybe adelle is just one of the few that always sleep & eat on demand and changes her schedule and pattern every so often, so i shouldn't push her too much.

tapii, hari ini dicoba deh, tadi pas adelle nap yang ke-3 (pdhl udah ditahan2in biar ga bobo, tp gimaneehh si nonik nguantukkk huamm huammm dan gosok2 mata..kesian kann) akhirnya adelle g kasih bobo 45 menit-an. udah itu jg mesti rada dibangunin biar ga bablas. duhh kesiaann....forgive mummy yah babygirl....

dari semua, kyknya yg plg doyan sihh mmm... smuanya doyan, cuman yg ga bgt doyan kyknya wortel, kentang & butternut squash. Dimakan sih iya, tp ga sesemangat waktu makan alpukat. Mungkin jg pas adelle sakit kmrn ini, jd nafsu makannya berkurang. Caranya ngikutin anjuran IDAI & WHO, setiap 1 jenis makanannya, dikasih 2-4 hr berturut2. Kalo tdk ada reaksi thd makanan2 tertentu, baru bisa dimix n match. Nah contohnya butternut squash, by itself adelle menunjukkan reaksi 'aneh', tapi pas dicampur ama bubur mueslinya, jd doyan.

Sampe saat ini g blm ngasih fruit juice sih. Dimana2 banyak yg menganjurkan, fruit juice itu nanti aja diatas 1 taon br dikasih - kecuali tjd konstipasi. Coba deh dibaca disini.

Yang pasti, sejak adelle mulai solidnya, BABnya jadi lancar banget banget...bisa sampe 5x sehari lho!

ampir 7 bln..

kemaren malem adelle ga mo bobo2 jg.. ada kali 1.5 jam-an dia maen2 sendiri, muter2, ngobrol2 ama bearnya, kluar masukin empengnya, tengkurep2 dan balik2 sendiri, minum aer dari botol yg kita taruh diatas bantalnya, manggil2 kita dgn "eeii...", ato "mmamaaa, dadaaa...." wuihhhhh... ga rewel sih ga cuman heran kok ga mau bobo2 jg. trus tiba2 kmrn mlm pas dinner adelle pamer dia dah bisa tepuk tangan (akhirnyaaa setelah diajar berminggu2 hehe). jadi deh pas ga mo bobo2 malem dia diajakin tepuk tangan terus ama daddynya, dan nurut huehuehue... dah pinter anakku... am so proud of her ihihihi..

trus tadi jalan2 sebentar ehh masa ada anak kecil mendekat ke stroller adelle, trus nyabut empengnya dan ditusuk2in ke pipi adelle... duhhh laki g udah gregetan aja, tapi ortu tuh anak pun ga ngomong apa2, ga mgkn kan laki g marahin tuh anak kecil?! gemes kali dia ama pipi adelle yg kayak bakpau hahaa... tuh anak dah pergi, dilap2 pipinya dan empengnya ama wet tissue hihi hygiene freak dasaarrrr.

adelle udah naek lagi bbnya 2 ons, pas sakit kmrn kan dia minum susu selalu ditinggal 60cc-an, makan jg ogah2an, turun deh 3 ons lebih...jd kurusan mukanya, lehernya kliatan.. enak lho ngegendongnya pas kurusan.. hahaha... adelle berat lagi neehh skrg, sayang!! Skrg bb adelle sih 8.85 kg, tingginya 73cm. Kalo lagi bobo melintang, udah pas banget, jadi takut g, adelle kan suka dorong2in badannya keatas kalo lg bobo, ini mah udah ga ada ruang gerak lagi hehhee...

rambut adelle jg udah panjang, 2 hr yg lalu g trim dikit2 yg diblakang. abisna lucu cara tumbuhnya, lapisan yg nempel ke kpala lebih pendek drpd lapisan yg diluar, jd kayak jabrik2 jadul gt. jd g trim aja yg diluar2nya. jd lmyn rapi daahh...
yg rambut bgn dpn udah panjang, dah bs diiket2.. tp g tetap demen pakein jepitan rambut ato hairband deh, kesian diiket, takut rontok ya ga?!

ini gaya adelle belakangan ini asal disuruh maen ama baby gym elmo-nya. badan disenderin ke belakang (makanya g taruh bantal, drpd kejedut ama headboard), kaki dinaikin buat ngedorong elmo sejauh2 mgkn, trus mencoba ngeraih bonekanya yg g gantung (tapi jelas2 trll tinggi dan ga mgkn sampe).

adelle di nebulizer..

adelle udah 1 mg lebih ini di nebul pake nebulizer. kesian deh awal2na..abis nangisnya bhoo gila2an (soalnya dipangku ama om dokter). sekarang sih mesti pinter milih waktu, if the timing is right, she doesn't cry.

Nebulizer itu alat yang biasanya dipake untuk penderita asma dan sejenisnya. No no adelle bukan kena asma *tok tok tok* tapi diagnosa om dokter sih Bronchiolitis.

7:00 Bangun tidur
nahh si jam bangun tidur ini TIDAK PERNAH SAMA. Setiap 1 mg - 10 hr pasti brubah lagi. Bbrp hr ini sih lagi agak2 menyebalkan jadwalna adelle. nah dia bangun jam 7 itu 1/2 laper doang, minta susu tp diminum 1/2 doang - dah itu lgsg molor. trus jam 9 kebangun lagi, minta sisanya, lgsg molor lg. Baru bangun lagi jam 10/11an. idiihh pdhl dah mamana bilang2in, kok anak cewe mandi pagina telat.. malu dong..
Padahal yah ibu2, dulu2 itu jadwalna adelle biarpun jamna brubah2, lumayan deh. Bangun jam 8an, minum susu sambil jemur2 kalo ada matahari, trus maen bentar, trus mandi, trus ga lama bobo.

pas orang2 nanya (dan udah buaannyaaakkk banget yg nanya, or at least suspected so), kenapa kita jaga adelle sendiri dan ga pake babysitter... gue sbenernya punya a zillion of reasons tapi yang keluar dari mulut hanya ".. mmm... gpp sih, pengen aja jaga sendiri..lagian ga percaya deh ama orang lain.." yaaa something like that lah jawaban gue. dan biasanya si penanya suka mengeluarkan pendapatnya of why i should have used one sitter..

emang sih, kalo adelle udah jago jalan, jago ngebrantakin, kayaknya perlu deh another pair of eyes behind my head. yang penting juga, adelle udah bisa ngomong (jadi kalo diapa2in dia bs ngasih tau kita). tapi, pikir punya pikir, apa gue yakin nih......

ok, jujur nih... gue *ternyata* termasuk agak2 perfeksionis, atau mungkin strict lah, dalam urusan anak. dan berdasarkan pengalaman berurusan ama staff di cafe, gimana coba gue bisa berubah haluan dan percaya orang luar nge-handle keseharian anak gue?! (these things come across my head everytime... dirty hands, smelly body, blowing air, cooling food by blowing air into it, kisses...).

ok, so that was one reason. another reason is... jujur aja cerita2 mengenai scary and mean baby sitters itu sangat amat memiris hati dan *tok tok tok* amit2, jgn sampe kejadian deh! *iye, gue parno-an orgnya kalo udah begini*

memang pro-nya jg ada, dan terkadang kalo badan udah terasa rontok, ngantuk, ga bisa kemana2, that thought tempts me. BUT, one very sweet smile adelle gives me can make all that go away in an instant.
Especially lately, with her stranger anxiety, everytime she's held by others and saw me come into the room, she'd give out the hugest smile with glittery eyes towards me, would start to whimper if I didn't show any signs that I was coming to get her (and those whimpers stopped immediately as soon as i reached my hands out to her), THAT is heaven.

I shyly admit, when those moments happen, I am the proudest mum in the whole wide world.

Hence, the same question arises, how could I use a babysitter then?! Can't live if those moments never happen to me, and would happen to the sitter instead!!!


*no puns intended, please no one get offended, these are purely my thoughts*

adelle is still unwell....

i took adelle back to the paeditrician as told. in general, i think adelle's coughs have become less often. i notice it more at night time as she doesn't get woken up coughing her lungs out as often as 3 nights ago. but it still doesn't sound right. dad took a listen to her breathing using the stethoscope and reckoned there's still so much phlegm in her lungs. not much choice but it's time to give her some antibiotics. so i took her to see the doctor again tonight. he took a listen too and then asked a series of questions such as, does allergy or asthma run in the family. as it does run in the family (but both ahren and i only have a very very mild allergy to dust and do not need treatment), the paeditrician diagnosed adelle may have it in the gene too. if these allergies remain untreated completely, it may turn towards asthma, and *tok tok tok* that's the last thing I want her to have!!!
he then asked if i own a 'nubilizer'. showed me one, and said that he'll teach me how to use it... i can choose whether to buy it or keep coming back to the clinic 3 times a day.
ohh man, adelle cried her eyes out during the treatment with the nubilizer... it was really really sad to watch. she kept looking into my eyes (and probably thinking how come mummy is just watching me getting 'tortured'..)

so yeah, tomorrow i think i'll go and buy a nubilizer and start her treatment at home. i hope she's going to be better soon...she's been refusing milk and water alot since she's sick, luckily she still want s to eat eventhough not with full excitement like she used to do. get well soon my baby..

some facts about adelle :

* she's started on solids since she turned 6 months and 5 days. as planned, i didn't start her on rice cereal and such, but still wanted something plain. So her solid debut was POTATOES! Pureed it, mixed it with a little water and adelle gulped it... since then she's tried potatoes, bananas, papayas, avocados, butternut squash, peas, carrots and pumpkins.
she's so easy to be fed, so it's been a fun journey so far.

* she's been doing a rocking-chair style whenever she's in a sitting position... darn funny!!! She's also been doing head bobbing too :D

* she's started mama-ing, dada-ing and baba-ing *yippeee*

* she's still a friendly, full of smiles little girl

* her stranger anxiety still hasn't gone away

My Baybeh is Sick....

Hari ini adelle akhirnya kita bawa ke om dokter secara kemaren udah kang kung kang kung dan berdahak pula kedengerannya. Opa omanya udah ribut2..hayooo sana dibawa ke dokter sebelum tambah sakit. Sebelumnya berhubung obat2an yg dulu nyaris blum pernah dipake, jadi masih ada. Akhirnya cuman didenger dadanya, diliat isi mulutnya, diukur temperaturnya, (pas ngeliat om dokter adelle pake acara mencibir2 lho mulutnya hihihi... si om bilang wah udah pinter nih udah tau kalo ketemu si om biasanya disuntik2 hihi), trus dibuatin resep, dan tnyt stlh ditembus isinya cuman food supplement Vit. C. obatnya yg dulu diterusin aja, kata si om.

ya sudlah... cup cup cup kamu cepet sembuh yah baby sayang...

I feel like blogging...

mmmm.... I suddenly have the urge to blog.. it has been a while tho..I've got so much to write but yet am not too sure what to write! (fyi, i don't really have a write's brain *smile*)

How's Adelle?

She's doing great.... still gorgeous as ever. She's been a supported sitter since she was 3 months old, and I suspect this is one of the reasons why she still hates being on her tummy (you know... limited view and movement).

Some quickfacts of Adelle's social, emotional and physical developments :

* she settles into a predictable routine for about 10 days then changes it for another 10 days, and so on
* she has developed a much stronger attachment to Mum and Dad since we got back from our Bali trip
* she enjoys social play
* she responds very well to others expressions of emotion
* she sits with help/support
* when placed on stomach, she lifts her head and supports her weight on forearms
* she tries very hard to get objects that are both in and out of reach
* she reaches for objects with one hand, especially her left hand (does this mean she'll be a left-handed like her dad?? hmmm....)
* she reaches her arms out if she wants to be picked up
* she doesn't like to be left alone in the room
* she laughs at funny expressions and sounds
* she lifts her head and shoulder when she's lifted up
* she tries to hold her head up when she's lied down
* she makes "gggrrgghhh" sound - we call her our little lion
* she rolls back from tummy to back whenever she's rolled onto her stomach (we guess she just hates being on her stomach *sigh*)
* she lets us know when she wants to continues feedings by grabbing her bottle when held nearby and putting it into her mouth
* she loves to smile alot
* she laughed with "he he he" sound to me a few days ago, usually she laughs with mouth wide open but either no sound or squealing sound

aih..anakku udah besar..

ga kerasa, adelle udah 4 bln 3 hari lho..dan udah tambah gede aja.. kok cepet banget yah?!

apalagi sekarang adelle udah bobo sendiri ga perlu digendong2.. lucu deh liatnya, kayak org gede aja.
hubby g aja bilang begitu, he wants to slow it down..but how?!!!

Setelah crosscheck ama buku "What To Expect - The First Year", adelle udah bisa ini2 nih.. :

- kepalanya tegak 90 derajat kalo lagi ditengkurapin

- ketawa dan memekik gembira
- mengikuti benda yang posisinya dekat maupun jauh, ke arah manapun
- bisa memerhatikan dengan seksama benda2 yang kecil
- kepalanya udah tegak dan lurus kalo lagi didudukin
- berguling dari posisi berbaring ke perut

- menggenggam mainannya, baju2, tissue2, botol susunya (asal ga penuh isinya) dengan telapak tangan dan juga jari2nya
- menggapai2 benda2 yang ada didekatnya
- tersenyum spontan, tersenyum malu dan tersenyum balik kalau kita tersenyum dengan dia
- mencari sumber suara, terutama suara orang2 rumah dan suara tv hehehe..
- jagoan bercerita, ngoceh2, kadang dengan suara yang keras (duh..) dan grandma melbernya ngakunya udah denger adelle babble "gen maahh... (grandma) dan maah" bbrp kali.
- suka menahan kakinya seperti mau berdiri dan sudah bisa menahan sejumlah berat badannya dalam posisi tsb
- duduk tanpa ditopang, tapi paling2 tahan 10 detik, kalo adelle ga goyang sana goyang sini
- protes kalo tangan/jarinya dijauhkan dari mulutnya
- main2 ludah, tiup2, tapi ini dulu pas 2 blnan, skrg udah jarang

trus tambahannya :

- udah kenal botol susunya, kalau lagi owek2 trus kita kocok2in susu di depan dia, langsung dipandangin dan terseyum manisss hehe
- suka sekali isep telunjuk, telunjuk + jempol sekaligus, ato jilat2 jg jadi (i dont think this is an achievement? heheh)
- sudah bisa bobo sendiri ga usah digendong
- kalau lagi dipangku, trus kita ngambil makanan, pasti makanan tersebut ditatapin dan udah itu lidahnya mengecap2 hehehe..dasarrrr
- perasaan g, adelle udah tau deh kalo mamanya pergi, pasti rewel banget br bisa bobo.
- suka ngeliatin cermin
- sekarang bukan ngemut2 bibir bawah aja, tapi dijulur2in dan lidah juga dijulurin tapi sambil diemut (mungkin ini aksi protes karena ga g kasih isep2 jari yah ehhe) tapi yang ada tuh bibir kayak bibir anaknya Angelina Jolie tau ga sihh...

nah ini hasil isep2 jari.... GUMOH!!!

eniwei, now it's the recap of our holiday.. travelling ama adelle sih ga nyesel deh, anaknya baik budi banget, kalo udah ngantuk ga ngeyel2 trus bisa bobo sendiri di strollernya. yang repot cuman bawaannya yang segudang! Apalagi kemaren kan gue mau ngabisin pampers yg udah dibeli, masa beli lagi disono.. jadi deh isi koper2nya penuh dgn pampers dan kaleng susu. Kursi mandi adelle aja skrg ditinggal di melbern, abis udah overweight koper2nya hehehe...

well, kita berangkat tanggal 26 juni lewat singapore, soalnya ga ada tuh pesawat yg langsung ke melbern, what's worse is that the transit time is almost 12 hours!!! mateee ga tuh?! Tapi sukur deh, semuanya terlewatkan dengan baik. Pas naik pesawat yg mo ke melbnya, adelle udah capek kali yah, agak ngeyel2 dikit pdhl pswtnya masih diparkir. ehhh ga lama tidur dianya. jadi pas take-off g cuman sedikit maksa ngasih empengnya, kalo susu kan udah mana mau lagi dianya wong udah kenyang. trus baby bassinetnya dipasang, dan adelle g pindahin. Dari 7 jam terbang sing-melb, adelle bobo 4.5 jam pertama. trus pas bangun lagi, g udah was was dianya rewel, soalnya di kursi sblh ada couple yg bawa baby jg, dan tuh baby dari 1 jam sblm adelle bangun rewel mlulu, antara nangis dan nggak gitu.. tapi suaranya keras bookk.. untungnya aman2 aja, cuman pas udah landing aja suaranya adelle keluar2 dikit, mo bobo lagi.

Melbernnya brrrrrrrrrr freeeeeezing bok!! Ternyata, menurut Ahren, kita nyampe di hari terburuk winter taon ini. selama 3 minggu dia disono, ga pernah2nya ujan dan lain lain, tapi hari g sampe, baahhhh ga usah dibilang gmnnya deh! Untungnya adelle ok2 aja tuh, mgkn kan udara sana 1/2 habitatnya dia juga hehehe...

Yang lucu sih, karena g takut adelle kedinginan, bajunya sampe berlapis2, baru dipakein jaket wool, trus baru jaket tebelnya. Jadinya, anak g bulky banget keliatannya, dan gendongnya juga susyaahhh amit2, ini kali yah rasanya kalo adelle 10 kg. hahhaa...

Puji Tuhan banget, biarpun kita kerjanya jalan2 aja tiap ari, pulangnya malem, adelle sehat walafiat aja. Cuman pas sampe medan aja lagi dia baru rewel. Apalagi medan lagi panas2nya dan listrik sering banget mati. Gimana seh Indonesiaku ini?!!! (eh, newsflash, masa pas kmrn lagi pertandingan bola di Senayan, listriknya mati 20 menit gt.... dodol ga tuh?! hahah ga nyambung yak...)

lagi pada kedinginan di Lake Mountain..maen salju, yang penting adelle terbungkus rapi heheh...

wah segini dulu yah, udah capek guenya :D

it was an awesome time-off, i must say.. regardless the cruel winter weather and the fact that we didn't get to see Uncle Kyle, we enjoyed every minute of it!! Adelle changed her habits, it's gotta be the cold that makes her hungrier hence she kept me awake at nights. So, basically the all-night zzzz has gone bonker. She did a longer stretch though, but only 5 hours max! So yea..there you go, then her first night back home, she was feeling the heat and cried her eyes out!!! These past few days, it's been crazy hot in Medan apparently.



Anyways, I'lll be back with some pics soon hopefully!!! :)

Because I've been trying to improve Adelle's sleeping habits, and today it showed GREAT advancement!!

It was becoming ridiculous to be singing to her and rocking her for hours each nap and sleep time because she would resist falling asleep. I haven't been so sure what kind of methods to implement, yet I'd like to start her at a young age. She's been a very good girl for sleeping in her own cot since she was born, only sometimes she co-sleeps with us. So I know right now I don't need to worry about her not wanting to sleep on her bed, but more like the rocking to sleep part. She's getting heavier, that's all.

I thought I'd start this early morning after her bath because no doubt she always falls asleep much MUCh easier after a bath. A good starting point, isn't it? Yes, I was right. Although she fussed for 5 minutes, after I gave her a pacifier, she went quiet and had her eyes half-open. I watched her falling asleep just like that. I couldn't believe my luck!!! Not jumping for joy yet, I decided to take a short nap before I started the day.

She woke up at 10.30 and smiled at me! It melted my heart... Shortly, she's asked for her milk and I fed her as usual. As soon as I felt it was safe for her to be put down (meaning, she won't chuck too much milk out), I let her watch her musical toy and her hanging toy. She mucked around for 15 minutes and then started calling me out and looking around to see where I was and what I was doing. I came to her and just talked to her for another 10 minutes. I then moved her to our bed so I could lie down next to her to read her a story. Not long after, she fussed a little bit, I gave her a pacifier and again, I was so lucky. She fell asleep after 10 minutes.

To cut today's story short, out of 4 feedings today, only once she fussed to be nursed to sleep. The rest, I put her down and she fell asleep on her own. Isn't Adelle such a good girl, daddy?! One thing that I noticed help calm her almost straight away is this pre-recorded gadget from Phillips. I'm not sure if we have this in Indo. We got it as a gift from my auntie in Holland. It's got 3 pre-recorded sounds (water flowing, heartbeat, and a lullaby song) and 1 button for your own recorded voice. It plays each sound that you pick for a set amount of minutes (also, you can choose the length of time). I have it set on the heartbeat. Thanks so much Tante Mel!!! That gift of yours is a LIFESAVER!!!

anyways, I was looking at her sleeping so peacefully and realized, she's growing up. I am going to miss those periods of cuddling in bed with her so close to me. I guess, even co-sleeping is not always comfortable and restful, it is a wonderful feeling to have your baby next to you. I will miss it.
I do wonder if it would be wrong to still nap with her from time to time after we are done with the night sleep training.

But this is all for everyone's good, isn't it?

And these past couple of days, she's warming up to her first Barney. She hugs him, sleeps with him and even bites his lips... *laughs*




and she's been given a teether because I thought it's a good encouragement for developing a mature grasp by giving her things to hold (plus a teether is safe to be put into her mouth, which what she's been doing with her hands). A teether seems cleaner than a rattle, in my humble opinion :) I do put a rattle in her hand to hold, but always supervised in case it lands in her mouth hehehe...

weaning

I know the recommendation is 6 months, and I have been adamant about it before. But somehow today my opinion's shifted a little bit. I decided I will start her on solids when she's shown signs that she's ready for it, rather than basing it on a tight schedule. Of course I will do so with her ped's approval. So, I'm rather pumped!! I'm planning to start her on veggies first without any carbs. I figure, giving carbs early on may be the reason why we all have those carb addictions! So, I can't wait for those signs!!!

kenapa hampir?? well, karena memang belum 100% setiap saat.

Begini lho, adelle udah bbrp hr ini bs bobo sendiri tanpa harus dikelonin! Pas mendekati 3 bln, rada kumat-an sih..tapi sekarang ga ada ujan angin ehhhh bbrp kali gue tinggalin aja dia di tmpt tdrnya, pas di-intip .. lho..kok udah merem melek..ya weisss gue tinggal aja.. dan berhasil, dia bobo sendiri!!! Ga ngerti deh knapa, padahal kan belum bener2 saya latih.... hmmmm auk ahh hehhe... (rada2 takut ngomongnya seh..abis takut dia denger, dan langsung berubah hahhaa...apa coba..)

these are adelle's achievements, people...

* she has given mummy some much-needed rest at nights since she was 9 weeks old!
* she can roll over on her stomach exactly on her 3 months birthday


* she has been cooing and gargling for a few weeks, and these past few days she's started squealing in delights and sometimes laughing out loud
* she is an excellent listener :)
* on stomach, she can lift her head up 45-60 degrees (tapi ini tergantung mood, kalo lg mau ngamuk, wuihhhh dia pilih grasa-grusu aja sambil ngences2 hehee)
* she is quite a social smiler



* she always follows any object that interest her, she can even turn her head around to follow where her mummy goes if she's in her bed!! I've been reading to her and making her watch some baby einstein dvds and she loves them!!!



* she can hold her head steady when sitting upright for about 10 seconds, then her head will start to wobble a little bit
* she once held her almost empty milk bottle with both hands!!
* she can bear some weight on legs when she's held upright
* she LOVES to lick her hands and fingers (sampe itu muka udah ketutup ludah kemana2 dan bajunya sering basah!!! --> maminya jd terobsesi ama bib hahahahha)
* she can complain if she's in the car enjoying the ride and the car comes to a stop at red lights!! She'd make "ugh..ugh..." noise hehe..


and I overheard this today... "my son likes to be carried all the time. Whenever I get tired of holding him, I try to remember that a year from now he's going to be squirming to get out of my arms — and I'm going to miss these days!" - it made me think....

I am 3 months old today, folks!! Yippee....

..... n i just rolled over on my tummy by myself without mummy pushing my back!!!!

*rubs my panda eyes*

aaaahhhh...... adelle's changed her schedule AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this time is rather confusing for me, and quite a difficult one to adapt with. She hasn't done a 3-hour stretch in between feeding time since..... gosh, she's a little bit over 1 month-old, and now she's back to it!!! I do not know why and why! She still drinks 120ml most of the time, 6 times a day, but she does sleep a very long sleep without waking up from about 12 or 1 am until 7 or 8 am. This is actually good, isnt it?! But, during the day, she barely sleeps for 30-60 mins in between her meals and the rest of her awake time? well, we always need to tend to her, that's either sit and talk with her, carry her or simply put her on her bouncing chair and let her watch one of her DVDs. When my mom and mother in law said babies always change their habits, I didn't know it was going to be every 10 days or so. *sighs* I just need my hubby to take over one or two of the shifts, that's all *rubs my panda eyes again* (too bad he's gone for his freakin' long holiday in melbourne...... arrgghhhhhhhhh)

but, this makes it all so darn worthwhile :D I love my baby girl to death!!!!!

another week in adelle's life

yeap.... 1 more week has gone passed. Adelle's been busy :D

adelle yang udah tambah jago ngoceh2nya, seruuu skalee asal dengerin dia kalo lg ngoceh2 ke boneka2 di musical toynya, ato kalo lg diajak mummy n daddynya ngobrol.. Adelle bs seperti lagi seru bercerita - nada suaranya naik turun dengan bermacam2 tangga nada, kata2nya jg mulai dari awwwuuuooh, geehh, meeeehhh, aayaaaa, grrrgghh, sampe haaahhhh (kyk org lg tarik napas lega gitu heheh).

satu hobby baru adelle yang agak2 membuat gue kawatir,... dia seneng nonton tv!! uhhh ohhh. gue juga sih yg beliin dvd buat adelle.. spt baby einstein, hello kitty, vcd lagu2, dan dia bisa liatin tivi dari awal sampe dvdnya abis.. sekitar 40 menitan lahh.. lumayan g jd bs beres2 dikit.

bbrp hari yg lalu adalah adelle's 2nd trip naik pesawat. Again, it was a smooth trip. Pulang dr jkt ke mdn lebih smooth lagi, kebetulan 5 mnt sblm take-off adelle udah minta minum, jadi pas banget pas udah diatas, adelle lgsg bobo tanpa gue sendawa-in. Pas mo nyampe, gue masukin empeng aja dan di enyot2 ama dia sampe turun dr pswt, pas ngambil bagasi baru deh dia bangun. Wah ga ada nyesel2nya deh travelling ama adelle hehhe.... BUT the real test bukan trip2 ke jakarta tsb, melainkan 20 hr lagi.. 7.5 hours trip dr sing-melbern!!!! teng...teng..teng...

a story long overdue....

.... tapi udah basi deh kalo diceritain lagi skrg hahahha..... :D yah beginilah kehidupan seorang mommy baru yang lagi sibuk2nya berkutat dengan baby barunya... jadi kalo cerita menjelang kelahiran Adelle udah basi banget kalo diceritain sekarang deh rasanya.

SO?!!!

ini daripada ga bisa bobo, gue ngeblog aja dehh.. ada sedikit cerita lucu yang baru saja terjadi.. Tiba2 jam 1/2 jam yg lalu Adelle ngoceh2 dan seperti biasa gue otomatis kebangun. Duhh... rada2 ngantuk gue idupin lampu kecil disamping tmpt tdr gue dan pelan2 ngomong ke adelle.. bentar ya nak.. mommy mo buat susu dulu.. dia mah tetap "ngah..nguhh..ngahh nguhh". Pas udah kelar susunya...gue mikir2, mmm...kok lucu yah tumben adelle minta susu pagi2 buta begini..udah lama gak begini deh.. Ya udah dikasih asi dulu kali yahh..mumpung doi belum ngamuk2 kelaperan. Gue asi-in. Ehh..ngenyot2...10 menit kemudian, kok ga semangat banget dan akhirnya ketiduran. Ya ampunn...setelah 15 menit baru gue tersadar2, ini kan jam pindahnya Adelle ke ranjang mommy n daddynya!!!! DUHHHH....... Yah begitulah sodara2, sejak balik dr jakarta, Adelle mempunyai kebiasaan baru antara jam 5-6 pagi dia expect to be moved to our bed!! Kalo udah gitu, dia bisa lho bobo sampe jam 9an gt.. hihihi.. (duh sbenernya ga lucu yak.. tapi ama gue lucu.. hihihihihi *maksa*)

Eniwei kita liatlah, apa dia bakal bangun lagi di boxnya dan sadar mommynya blm mindahin dia pdhl udah waktunya hehhee...

She's now 11 weeks old.. jalan 12 week. Dan udah guedee banget lho skrg!! Gue takut terlalu ndut deh tapi gimana.. she's a MILK MONSTER!!! hahaha... beneran cinta banget ama susunya. (menurut pandangan gue sih hehhee... who knows bentar lagi die bosen...sen...sen...) Pernah kok kejadian 2 ato 3x deh rasanya, adelle tiba2 males2an minum susunya.. cuman abis 50cc lah..60cc lah.. ato mentok2 90cc, tapi besok2nya udah back to basic sih biasanya :D Dasarrrghhh....

Kayaknya sih skrg beratnya udah 6 kg (ga tau plus brp gram sih) dan panjangnya pun gue rasa udah 60cm, inipun terakhir ngukur udah 2 ato 3 weeks ago. Yah anakku mungkin emang ditakdirkan menjadi wanita yang tinggi hihihi... wong bapaknya menjulang tinggi gitu dan emaknya, yahhh..not so short either lah *cheeky grins*

My mom and dad always says, we're so blessed and lucky that Adelle is such a well behaving baby. Dari lahir memang tuh.. ngamuknya jarang, cuman kalo lagi laper aja. Makin gede makin bervariasi sih, tapi antara laper, capek pengen ganti suasana, capek karena ngantuk, popoknya basah dan poopnya rada2 ga nyaman, dan kalo lg pengen digendong.

One thing I realized is that how it feels 'to love unconditionally like a mother does'. haiizzz....... jadi terharu hahahaa....



Eniwei, now is time for "Facts about Adelle" (quote dari bu ferlin) :

* senyam senyum

Iyahh..my baybeh udah senyum2 mlulu deh 3 mg ini (berarti dari 2 blnan yahh).. lutchunyaaa.. seminggu belakangan ini sih senyumnya udah ama org serumah, dan emang sih msh lebih sering ke mommy n daddynya. Tapi..awal2nya hanya daddynya yang bs ngobrol2 ke adelle dan adelle senyum2 ke dia. Pokoknya 9 out of 10 times deh. Kalo ke gue, paling2 5 out of 10.. Tapi skrg, pasti dia senyum kalo gue ajak becanda.

* cooing

nah kalo cooingnya...mmmm udah mulai dari 1 blnan deh kyknya..cuman sejak bisa senyum, lebih bervariasi cooingnya adelle. ada yang geerrrrrhhhh, ada yang a-yaaahhh, ada yang uggh ughh, ada juga yang eehhhh.. dll. malah hubby yakin, adelle lg mencoba ngomong "helloww..." kadang2 (yah you know lah, he's been teaching her that particular word)

* demen mandi & pampers kering

adelle tuh kalo abis minum susu pagi2, pasti ga pernah bobo lagi sejak mmm... since i can remember deh.. dari usia bbrp hari sudah menunjukkan tanda bahwa dia demen ama air, dan asal dimandiin pasti diemmmm dengan tampang nikmat gt. Jadi dulu tuh karena adelle bermasalah banget ama muntah2 yang sering biarpun udah disendawain 3x dll, gue sempat mandiin adelle sebelum ngasih susu.. nah tentu dia lagi laper2nya kan?! tapi tetap aja dia diemm seneng2 aja dimandiin. Bbrp mg belakangan ini sih kalo pampers basah adelle jg udah bs ngasih tau. Begitu gue ajakin ngomong, mami ganti yah pampersnya, lgsg deh senyum2 dan diem ngoceh2nya.

adelle lg hobby jilatin tangannya!!!! awalnya sih, adelle nemuin kalo dia punya lidah (2 bln lwt dikit), jd lidahnya suka keluar masuk gt... trus agak 2 hrnya, dia nemuin kalo air liur itu bisa dibuat bubble..jadi deh kerjanya niup2in liurnya dan kadang mulutnya berbusa2 kayak abis makan sabun gt hihihi..... trus 1 mg kmdn dia mulai deh jilat2in tangannya. * suka 'berantem' ama diri sendiri

nahh ini yg membuat gue suka kawatir... masa yah sodara2, adelle suka grasa-grusu kalo lg mo bangun gt, dan tuh tangan suka gosok2in mukanya, kadang bisa sampe kedengeran 'dug dug' kayak suara ninju2 gt. aduhh gue suka syereeemmmm, tuh anak udah makin kuat deh apa ga sakit yakk.... seringnya kalo gue ada gue suka nahanin tangannya atau telapak tangan gue ditaro disisi yg lagi 'ditinju2in' biar tgn g yg ketinju bkn mukanya. Kulit mukanya skrg jd kasar dan merah2 gt hiikssss......

* anteng kalo dibawa kemana2

untung yahh..adelle termasuk anteng banget kalo gue bawa jalan2.. either bobo mlulu di strollernya ato liat2 sana sini....cuman 1 tempat yg blm brani g bawa..yaitu.. gereja!! hihi..masih takut nih ... apa kecepetan yah kalo g bawa misa skrg?! anyone?!

* kaki dan tangan sangat amat aktif

dari lahir, satu yg menonjol dari adelle adalah kaki dan tangannya yang gak bisa diem. lucu deh kalo kakinya kadang nendang2 bersamaan gt hehehe....

* ga seneng ditelungkupin

kadang gue ngomong ke adelle....'tummy time yah sayangg...' dan gue telungkupin, give it 5 minutes, pasti udah itu dia nangis hehehe... ga tau knp adelle ga demen banget kalo ditelungkupin.. pdhl kepalanya udah bs kok naik 60 derajat gt, dan udah dr dulu bs pindah arah.. tapi tetap aja sampe skrg dia buntut2nya bs owek owekk.. ya sudlah.. ga usah gue suruh mlulu kali yah..kesian jg kalo dia ga demen.

* loves kiki so much

it's actually a weird toy (i think many baby toys are 'weird') ... it's got 2 different colors of ears, one is green and one is blue.. its stomach is a round plastic - with small colorful balls bouncing around inside - that can roll around. its face is ... pretty ok, except the mouth which is positioned only, i repeat only on the right hand side.. hmmm... not to mention the its nose is lined all the way down to its chin. BUT, adelle loves her... she can stare at kiki for half an hour!! kalo udah gitu, ahren and gue mesti gantian megangin kiki .. ketek gempor bookk! hehehe.

* such a blessed baby

dari belum lahir, sampe skrg.... beruntung banget deh kita.. mulai dari susu, angpao2, jewellery macem2, sampe kado2 barang2 baby lainnya mulai dr maenan, baju sampe perlengkapan mandinya yg kalo ditilik2 bisa sampe umur 1 ato 2 taon ga abis2 deh. Ohh, blessingnya jg sampe ke usaha mommynya yang rame2 aja :D

it's chinese new year '07!!

We spent last night with the family - enjoying chinese new year's eve meals @ GA Hotel. The meal was pretty good - better than last year - but the music - hmmmm........ :P The baby in my stomach did protest a few times - to sum it all up heheh.. What an introduction to some of her cultures *laughs*

Time is flying so fast. Not long, there's going to be an addition to the family, wow.. in less than a month!!! Now that the shop's valentine stuff is over, I've started to think about the actual delivery day *shivers* Although pretty much I've prepared everything, I realize my mental still needs 'getting ready'!!!! Big, big, BIG Uh Oh...

I'm having my last ultrasound hopefully tonight if not tomorrow night. Very curious to know how heavy she is right now.. I'm guessing she's around 2.8kgs now. I've gained almost 10 kgs by now and started to not able to fit into my shoes... (and the wedding ring is rather 'tight') hehe... Ahren said it looks like it's the water retention has begun. yuck.. luckily i've got only a few weeks left!

i've been carrying the baby in me everywhere for 30 weeks... :) and am starting to feel like .. "hmm.. this pregnant stomach is getting heavy, and it's still 2+ more months!! Dad said that in the last 3 months of pregnancy the baby will gain about 1 kg per month (which is about 250 gr per week). The last time we had an ultrasound, she weighed 1.5 kgs already, that means... hmm.. she could be born 3.5 kgs or more!! Uh oh.. as long as she's a healthy little one.. I can't believe this, so many of my tshirts to wear around the house are already snuggly fit, what am i going to wear in the next 2 months?!!! *scratches head* I've been borrowing ahren's tees too, they make me look bigger all over hehe..
Anyways, these are the pair of nike shoes which Ahren bought in his last trip to Penang (they're size 23 EUR for your information) :D

weight gain : +7 kgs
discomforts : leg cramps, constipation, hard to sleep or toss and turn, itchiness and tiny red bumps
weight of baby : 1.5 kg

Si baby udah 30 minggu gue bawa2 kemana-mana..hihihi.. dan sekarang, mommynya udah mulai berasa hamil itu kok agak2 berat yaakkk bawaannya nih perut hehe.. :D Masih 2 bulanan, dan kata bokap, 3 bln terakhir, babynya nambah 3 kg, berarti 1 kg per bulan, dan 250gr per minggu. Terakhir periksa aja udah1.5 kg.. berarti... mmm total2 bisa jadi 3.5 kgs!!! Nahh lloooohhhh!!! Gile, sekarang aja, baju2 tshirt rumah gitu makin ga nyaman aja dipakenya, gimana 2 bln kedepan yakk?! *garuk2 pala*

Ahren minggu lalu ke Penang bareng Alwin & Alice (my li'l sister).. dan pulang membawa sepasang sepatu nike buat his babygirl.. Terharu deh saya hihihi... gitu2, bisa juga dia milih biarpun sizenya kegedean bokkk heheheh.. Yah itung2, ntar bisa dipake pas udah bisa jalan kali yaahh..

(Fyi, memang itu yang terkecil yg ada di toko, which is size 23 EUR). Tapi noiceee n retro banget kannnn?!!! *wink wink* Baju yg disebelahnya hasil syoppingnya kita di Next. Bahan dalemnya kaos (kepisah dan ada kancing2 di selangkangannya), trus yg luarnya nyampur jeans and corduroy.

Gileee...lahir aja belon, lemarinya udah penuh hihihi..


Hari ini baju2x babynya udah mulai dicuci2.. yang warna dulu, besok yang putih2. Bukan gue yang nyuci sihh.. hehhe.. Trus ntar lagi lemari bajunya yang barusan kelar kita pasang mo dibawa masuk ke kamar. asyikk.. gue seneng banget kalo bisa beres2 jauh2 ari begini.. apalagi kalo tambah gede kan pasti tambah begah kaann.. Yahh mumpung januari itu rada2 bulan adem ya gak ya gak?!

Didi minjemin dvd "Little Miss Sunshine" dan katanya, couple di film itu rada mirip2 gue n ahren.. hmmmm masa sihhhhh?! Jadi penasaran mo nonton daahh..

Tadi pagi gue mesti periksa darah lagi di lab.. orang labnya nanya2, kok udah 30 mg msh diperiksa lagi? Yah mana gue tau sus... Trus pada nanya lagi, apa bbnya naik banyakk.. hmmm nggak juga kok.. ini total2 baru 7 kg kok. Yah mungkin bokapku cuman mo jaga2 aja biar hatinya tenang menunggu kelahiran cucu pertamanya ini hihihi..

*gasp* 10 more weeks to go...?!!!

well..more or less..i'm just rounding up some numbers here *grin*

First of all, Happy New Year 2007 to all of you!! I've been caught up with so many things lately, the shop and plus my brothers are in town. We had an awesome new year's eve.. It was nothing more than a gettogether with a few family members and BBQ!!! To cut the story short, we had the best ribs ever that night..*yummmm...yummm*

Despite all the fun, my 28/29 weeks pregnant body had to protest a little bit... I woke up around 5.30 crying out for Ahren to do something about my cramping legs!! Ugh, this time it was ugly.. the pain was just creeping up and lingered around the calf and back of the knee.. while the pains in one leg hasn't eased away, the other leg started playing up.. After awhile I had tears rolling down my cheeks.. (what a wimp, I know).

Anyway, it's the new year!! I haven't got so much time left to prepare the glorious welcome heheh.. At least, when I'm still full of energy. She went a little quiet a couple of weeks ago and I asked Dad to do a quick ultrasound. Thank God she was alright. Straight after that, she went even more active than ever. She hardly sleeps during the day now - not to mention the night time. Uh oh... :D And, ohh.. she is not a tiny baby, ladies and gentlemen... Last we checked, she weighed 1.2 kgs and was supposed to be 1 kg only. *gasp* Never mind, as long as she's a healthy little peanut... :-)

We've picked her first name, but not the middle name yet. My mom and siblings are dying to know what it is! *chuckle* We'd rather they don't. It's more difficult to protest a name when it's attached to a living baby :)
