Adelle's accomplishment updates

LINGUALITY :

* adaaa (we think she tries to say 'adelle')

BEHAVIOUR :

* she can 'peluk sayang' (=hug) me (on my shoulder, chest and tummy), dad, oma, opa, iie alice, her bears, oma's and daddy's mobile phones, house phone, tv remotes, and her milk bottles - all with the mumbling sound " aahhh.....".

* she never crawled using her tummy. from not crawling at all, she jumped to crawling with 1 foot on the ground (halfway to a standing position) and 1 leg dragged along (it's so funny, we name it NGESOT instead of CRAWLING). Someday, we really need to video it before she walks.
She does crawl like normal too, but she probably thinks that ngesot-ing gets her around faster than crawling.

* if she grabs something that she's not supposed to, she'd turn around and point the item to us as if she was asking for a permission - that she knows she'll never get anyway. We'll wriggle our index finger and say no, she'll cheekily laugh and start to 'ngesot' away as fast as she possibly can, stop and glance to see where we are, and ngesot away again.

* she can answer our questions when she really wants to do the thing we ask her by saying " IYAAAAAH".

* she sings to herself in the mornings! i'm dead serious, she sings. with a smile too, if i must add. usually she does that after her 7am milk, just as she goes back to sleep.

* she hugs me. only me. her daddy says she has never hugged him that way.

* she can point to her nose when asked.

* she can pout when we ask show us opa's mouth (fyi, opa has pouty lips heheh)

* she dances up and down and claps her hands whenever she hears music.

* she does fake cries when we take something away from her. (grrrowl)

* she's very very active.

* she loves practicing how to stand up without any support. she'll let go off holding onto anything that helps her up, starts balancing herself with such a happy glowy face (like she's accomplished something so BIG)

* she doesn't like TV anymore. we'd turn it on just to get the sounds playing in the background. adelle will glance for a few seconds to the tellie once a while, but then will continue to move around (and mess everything!!).

* she'd wriggle her index finger and would start to babytalk (the way we tell the dogs off) whenever we take her to see the dogs barking.

* she can play ball with us back and forth - eventhough when she throws the ball towards us, it tends to bounce on the spot *lol*

* she does "mata genit" (=flirty eyes)

* she shakes her head when she really doesn't want something we're making her do
