1 day before 8 months old

adelle had very soft stool this morning and to my surprise it was a baby's stoll colour. my mum used to tell me that i used to do this when i was going to be 'good' at something aka milestone. come the afternoon, adelle proofed oma right. she pulled herself up to standing position when she was playing in her cot!!!! we were ecstatic and couldn't believe my eyes. i think the urge to get mummy's attention is so great that she managed to do that.

schedule
adelle has been having very good nights. her schedule is so regular since... gosh it's been awhile!! see, i can't even remember when was the last time she changed her schedule!!! keeping my fingers crossed still though.... :D
so now it's like this :

• feeding #1 around 6-7, then either goes back straight to sleep or plays abit by herself then falls asleep
• feeding #2 around 9-10. then bath time.
• meal #1 around 12.30
• nap #1 around 13.30-14.30
• feeding #3 around 15.00-16.00
• playtime and bathtime around 17.30
• then she either has power nap or she'll have her meal #2
• feeding #4 around 20.30-21.00
• plays abit until around 22.00, then have about 1/2 - 2/3 of her feeding #5
• falls asleep until the next feeding around 6-7

she definitely wants extra mummy time whenever i'm around. she does very well with daddy, but i can just tell she's not content if she's not in my arms, on my lap or next to her. i've been trying to make her spend extra time with the rest of the household. it's obvious it's going to be a very longg process. i don't think i spoil her by giving in to her whining but let's hope that this 'stranger anxiety' will eventually pass.

the other night she was rather fussy and just couldn't seem to fall asleep. it's probably her teeth. so in the end i held her in my arms. it's been forever since she has fallen asleep in my arms. it was a good feeling despite the difference in kilograms months ago! hehehe...

and when she smiles, her eyes light up
